About Us: What is the Bromsgrove & Redditch Circuit of the Methodist Church?
Welcome to our Bromsgrove & Redditch Methodist Churches Circuit Website!
The Circuit is the way the eleven separate Methodist Churches in the Bromsgrove and Redditch area work together as a team. The eleven Churches reach from Catshill in the north to Alcester in the south. Three of the churches are united congregations (two with the Church of England and one with the United Reformed Church).
There are around five hundred members of the eleven churches, plus more who attend worship or take part in some aspects of the life of the churches. Each church has a dedicated page on this website accessible via the Churches tab. In addition short descriptions of the churches can be found here : https://www.brmethodists.co.uk/circuit_documents/churches/
What is a Christian Church? Each congregation is a group of people gathered together around the memory of, teaching, purposes, presence and power of God as we believe it is particularly revealed to us through the words and life of Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus brings and is Good News which is meant to be shared!
Whilst each congregation is encouraged to be its unique self, there is a blessing in unity. We build this by coming together, sharing resources and supporting one another.
